Developmental Disabilities Community Services Petition

Dear Governor O’Malley & Members of the Maryland General Assembly:

There are over 17,000 people with developmental disabilities and their families on the Developmental Disabilities Administration’s Waiting List for community services. The number of people on the Waiting List continues to grow.

⇒  Over half of the people on the Waiting List are in crisis NOW.

We call on Governor O'Malley and the legislature to consider these citizens' critical needs and provide funding for DDA Community Services. These individuals with disabilities and their families cannot wait any longer.
